Doris Weeden Jackson, 87, of Greensboro went to her eternal home on March 23. She was born on July 4, 1935 in Perry County to Walter Weeden and Leola E. Weeden.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda J. Wilkerson and her son, Russell Lee Jackson. She is also survived by her two grandchildren: Heather J. Phillips, and Warren Aubrey Wilkerson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Kirk Funeral Homes Chapel in Greensboro. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm also at the chapel with Rev Dee McGuire officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Greensboro Chapel directing. Graveside service will follow at Oakwood-Martin Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: David Moore, David Hulsey, Bert Weeden and Russell Weeden.
