Malinda Fuller Graves

Malinda Fuller Graves was born on February 21, 1965, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She traded her earthly body for her heavenly home on January 9, 2026.

A visitation for Malinda will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Magnolia Chapel South from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with services at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.

Malinda was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry R. Fuller Sr. and Judy F. Fuller, and two granddaughters, Annabelle and Avaleigh Banks.

She is survived by her son, Brandon (Heather) Banks; her brother, Jerry R. (Carol) Fuller Jr.; two grandsons, Parker and Jaxon Banks; and one nephew, Brody Fuller. She is also survived by a host of cousins and loved ones.

As a child, Malinda loved music, dancing, and her baby dolls. She was a “Daddy’s girl” through and through. As she grew older, those qualities did not change—they only grew. Dancing turned into laughter, and caring for dolls became caring for her baby brother, Jerry, whom she loved with all her heart.

At the age of 21, Malinda gave birth to the greatest love of her life, her son, Brandon Banks. She shared her love of music with him, and Brandon inherited his mother’s great sense of humor and her taste in music. Malinda loved and cared for her son in ways only a mother could, often making great sacrifices to ensure his happiness.

Throughout Malinda’s life, she was blessed with many friends, but often spoke of her best friend, Renee, whom she lovingly referred to as “Sissy.” Their friendship remained strong until the end, and Malinda was deeply blessed by it.

Malinda was a loyal friend, a loving mother, and most importantly, a child of God. On August 11, 2018, she put her faith in Jesus and gave her life to Christ. In true fashion, she loved Jesus with all her heart.

Due to health reasons, Malinda moved into a nursing home in 2021. She enjoyed her time there, participating in crafts, events, and making new friends. She was elected Vice President of the Residents’ Council and enjoyed all the responsibilities that came with her title. She was especially excited to be named Valentine’s Queen and proudly displayed her crown.

Malinda lived a beautiful life and truly loved every friend, family member, and acquaintance. She never met a stranger and shared the love of the Father in ways many will never forget. She was an incredibly kind woman with a generous heart and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
