In recognition of National Family Caregivers Month, the Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension Program will host an educational workshop designed to support and empower caregivers and seniors in the community.
Themed “Compassion in Action: Empowering Caregivers and Seniors,” the workshop will take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the BBMIC Center, 4100 U.S. Highway 80, Selma, AL 36701.
This free event invites family caregivers, professionals, and community members to come together for a morning of education, support, and resources focused on caregiving challenges and senior well-being.
“We want to offer practical tools and emotional support to those who give so much of themselves to care for others,” said Tameka King, Family and Consumer Science County Agent with the Cooperative Extension Program.
