Perry County Schools will hold two community briefings on Saturday, July 26, to update parents and residents on the progress of the school district. The events will take place at the Robert C. Hatch High School gymnasium at 12 p.m. and at the Francis Marion School gymnasium at 3 p.m. A live stream will be available for those unable to attend in person.
According to the district, the briefings will cover three main topics: people, progress, and partnerships. The Board of Education and Superintendent will recognize students, teachers, staff, and families for their contributions to the district, highlighting student achievements, staff recognition, and efforts to support student well-being and family engagement.
The district will also provide updates on academic growth data, new programs, technology improvements, and facility upgrades. The briefing will address how Perry County Schools is working to close learning gaps and prepare students for future success.
