West AlabamaWorks is inviting job seekers to attend a hiring event on Tuesday, June 24 at New Heights Community Resource Center (3834 21st St. in Tuscaloosa) from 9 a.m. to noon.
“Community hiring events are essential to connecting job seekers with local employers,” said Executive Director of West AlabamaWorks Donny Jones. “We want to encourage those looking to get back into the workforce or looking for a new career to come and participate in this great event.”
The hiring event, in partnership with the Alabama Career Center System, will host over 22 companies including DCH Health System, Peco Foods, Alabama Department of Mental Health, Schnellecke Logistics, and supportive services such as ADRS. Job seekers will have the opportunity to speak with company representatives and apply for open positions.
