College City Drug in Marion has had an exciting few months, with two major events celebrating and supporting the local community. In October, as part of their Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Sale, Kasey Barton (left) was named the door prize winner. More recently, College City Drug hosted its annual Open House the Saturday before Thanksgiving. The community favorite drew a large crowd, offering attendees a chance to enjoy special deals, festive cheer, and an array of door prizes. Willie Mae Howard took home the grand prize—a $100 gift certificate—while other lucky winners included Kaitlyn Rives, Heather Averette, Tameta Smith, Catherine Lardell, Melissa Sheehan, Angela Chesser, Jonetha Williams, Adrienne Deramus, Melissa Bolding, and Sandy Sparks. The staff at College City Drug expressed gratitude for the community’s continued support of this tradition, which has become a highlight of the holiday season in Marion.
