Darryl Dewayne “Hard Roller” King died March 8 at the age of 58.
He was born April 7, 1964 to the late Ida Mae King and Willie Foster, Sr. He confessed hope in Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Damian Hicks of Greensboro; two daughters, Ja’Lias Hicks (Kendrick) Lucious of Vance and Tiffany Hicks of Tuscaloosa; four grandchildren, La’Dainan Hicks, Jayden Hicks-Williams, Brayden Hicks, and Ma’Rilynn Lucious; a godson, Kaissen King Thomas; three brothers, Theodore King and Gerald King of Greensboro and Willie (Gracie) Foster Jr. of Sawyervile; a special aunt, Ruby King; five aunts, Christine (Jonathan) Robinson of Tuscaloosa, Mattie King, Celclia (Freddie) Harris, Katherine King, and Patricia (Darryl) Agnew; an uncle, Lee Daniel King; a special friend Corine Edwards; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
