Robert C. Hatch High School is welcoming Coach Cyontai Lewis to the Bobcat Nation. Serving as the school’s new Head Football Coach, Lewis will also act as a physical education teacher.
A native of Greene County, Lewis hails from Eutaw, Alabama, where he went directly to the University of Florida. Lewis was a student athlete, playing for the Florida Gators, graduating in 2018 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Liberal Arts and Science. Lewis was a four-year starter for the Florida Gators, leaving an impression during his tenure with the Gators.
While seeking recruitment in the National Football League, Lewis worked with children and youth in various humanitarian capacities, prior to beginning his coaching career.
In a social media introduction shared by Robert C. Hatch, Lewis said, “The children are our future and we have to pour all the knowledge into them,” adding, “I’m ready to be a part of leading the students to success in their education and in athletics.”
