Jessie Lee Frank died May 12 at his home at the age 0f 67.
He was born July 14, 1954 to Charles Cooper Allen and Ruby Lee Allen.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Jerusalem Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Greensboro Public School, East Campus and a member of the Class of 1974. He was a devoted employee of Golden Rod and Southern Pride Catfish for many years. He loved planting flowers and gardens. No one could out-plant him, he used only a shovel and his hands.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruby Lee Allen and Charles Cooper Allen.
Survivors include his wife, Geraldine Frank; seven children, Debbie Frank of Sawyerville, Stacy Frank of Greensboro, Jennifer Frank of Greensboro, Wanda (William) Jones of Tuscaloosa, Lovell (Ambria) McGuffie of Greensboro, Terry McGuffie of Greensboro, and Kent McGuffie of Greensboro; four sisters, Rebecca (Donald) Bidwell of Pompano Beach, Fla., Pearlie Mae Carr of Greensboro, Mary Ann Allen of Greensboro, and Louise Allen of Lexington, Miss.; a brother, Charles Earl Allen of Dixons Mills; two aunts, Bessie Edwards of Greensboro and Catherine Phillips of Marion; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday, May 21 at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Greensboro with Pastor James Frank officiating and Washington and Paige Mortuary directing.
