January 19, 2026
- A vehicle wreck involving a vehicle and College City Drugs on Washington Street was reported.
January 20, 2026
- Officers took a report of first-degree theft involving a vehicle on Grove Street.
- Police also responded to a fight and assault reported at Breakthrough Charter School.
January 21, 2026
- Menacing was reported at the Valero station on Washington Street.
- Officers also responded to property damage involving power lines on Green Street.
January 23, 2026
- Police took a report of sexual abuse involving a juvenile in the Cahaba Heights area.
- Officers responded to a disturbance call at Lottie’s Restaurant on Washington Street.
- Second-degree theft was reported on June Lane.
- A missing/runaway person was reported on Eutaw Street.
January 24, 2026
- Property damage was reported on Highway 14 West.
- Officers took a report of harassing communications and menacing involving 911.
- Police also responded to a medical assistance call on Centerville Street.
January 25, 2026
- Property damage was reported on Highway 5.
- Officers responded to a report of second-degree assault on Thompson Street.
Arrests

- Charlotte Edwards was arrested on four outstanding warrants from Hale County.
January 23, 2026
- Kaleria Foster was arrested on charges of first-degree sexual abuse and second-degree sodomy.
- Lue David Suttle was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, two counts of second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and making a terrorist threat in the second degree.
