A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 25, has claimed the life of an Orrville woman.
Brenda D. Leshore, 65, was fatally injured when the 2010 Ford Focus she was driving left the roadway, struck several trees, and overturned. Leshore was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected, and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 5 near the 45-mile marker, approximately eight miles north of Safford, in Dallas County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
