Mykeia Shanavyia Dunkin, who was arrested earlier this year after a highspeed chase involving law enforcement, has been indicted by a Perry County grand jury.
Court records show that Dunkin was indicted on July 17 on charges of attempting to elude law enforcement resulting in death or serious injury, child endangerment, and reckless endangerment. Her bond is set at $27,000, and she has been released on bond.
The charges stem from an April 29, 2025, incident in which Dunkin allegedly fled from law enforcement while driving at speeds over 150 miles per hour with a three-week-old baby in the vehicle. Authorities say the infant was not restrained during the chase, which created a substantial risk of serious physical injury.
The case was formally filed in Perry County Circuit Court on July 28.
