A community-wide Back-to-School Giveaway for Perry County students will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the Courthouse Square in Marion.
The event is open to all students in Perry County, with free school supplies available for pickup. Organizers are inviting local churches and civic groups to participate by donating and helping distribute supplies.
The giveaway is sponsored by the Sowing Seeds of Hope Social and Spiritual Task Force, the Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children, First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa, the Presbytery of Sheppards and Lapsley, and other partners.
