The Alabama Department of Mental Health will host the Open Doors: Rural Disability Support Fair on July 7, 2025, from 5pm- 7pm at the Hale County College and Career Academy. Advocacy organizations and local service providers will be on hand offering assistance with employment, healthcare, housing, education, and legal issues. Family and caregiver support, transition and pre-employment transition services will be available. This is a free event open to people with disabilities, caregivers, families, and community members.
