Joey Leonard Smith, 44, of Faunsdale went to his eternal home on June 14, 2025. He was born on October 11, 1980 in Demopolis, AL to Jimmy Smith, Sr. and Gloria Eve Cromer Smith. He was a self employed mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Smith. He is survived by his parents; his daughters, Abi Smith and Cloe Smith; his sister, Mary Elizabeth Hollingsworth; and his brother, Jimmy Leon Smith, Jr.
A graveside service was held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Waycross Bible Methodist Church. with the Rev. George McKee officiating and and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing. Pallbearers were: Jimmy Smith, Sr., Stanley Averette, and Will Aiken.
