In loving memory of the late Annie Essex, her family and friends initiated the Annie Essex Memorial Scholarship Fund in 2005 to award scholarships to graduating seniors within the Perry County School System. Continued implementation of this program will enable us to keep Annie’s legacy of service and generosity alive, as well as, promote, foster, and increase educational opportunities for students within the Perry County School System. The Annie Essex Memorial Scholarship Committee is hereby elated to announce its 2025 scholarship recipients. In recognition of academic excellence, community service, citizenship participation, commitment to higher education, and promotion of Annie Essex’s legacy of service and generosity to help others, the Scholarship Committee will award three (3) 2025 academic scholarships.
