The Clibrey family is mourning the loss of their beloved Annie L. Clements Clibrey. Annie passed away on March 25, 2025 at Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home in Demopolis, Al with family at her bedside. She was the baby of 5 children who was born of Murphy Clements and Venola Duncan Clements of Greensboro, Al. She is preceded in death by her husband John H. Clibrey, Sr., her parents, sisters, Avis V. Payne, Sara Nell Ables, brothers, J.L. Clements and J.C. Clements, and granddaughter Jessica Nichole Melton (Rod) Gibson. Those left to mourn her passing are her 3 children. Teresa C. (Jerry) Feist, Vonnie C. (Bill) Wilkins and John H. (Rena) Clibrey. There are 5 living grandchildren. Amanda Wilkins (Chuck) Misso, David (Michelle) Clibrey, Matthew (Lauren) Melton, Dani Clibrey (Jay) Stuck, and Meria Wilkins (Austin) Stuart. There are 8 great grandchildren, and special friend Johnny Melton of Greensboro.
Annie, known as “Granny Pap” by her grandchildren and great grand children is deeply loved by those her knew her and will be greatly missed.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kirk Funeral Homes.
Services were held at Rhodes Chapel Baptist Church in Greensboro, Al on April 5, 2025. Officiant was Albert Lyles of Tuscaloosa.
