Large dumpsters will be distributed throughout Perry County for citizens to use at their disposal beginning the week of July 7 and continuing through July 20. Each Perry County Commissioner’s district will receive a dumpster that can be used for community clean ups. The announcement came through Perry County Commission Chairman, Albert Turner, Jr.’s, social media.
Alongside this announcement, Turner also announced that due to delays in garbage collection over the last month, “Customers will see a one-month credit adjustment on their August bill.”
This news followed the announcement of more scheduled garbage collection throughout the county. Turner promised that regular garbage collection would continue on its regular schedule beginning next week. Turner thanked Perry Countians for their patience during the delays in service.
