Steve Anderson, Tuscaloosa’s first African American police chief, was the Motivational Monday speaker at R.C. Hatch. Anderson encouraged students to make positive choices, value themselves, focus on their goals and have positive attitudes. Anderson, a Uniontown native, is a 1989 graduate of R.C. Hatch and currently serves as Director of System Security at the University of Alabama.
