After a rule change passed earlier this year, Marion’s mayor and city council were due to meet Tuesday night, Sept. 5, since their regular meeting would have fallen on Labor Day. The city’s Facebook page announced that the meeting would instead be held Wed., Sept. 6 at 6:00 p.m. This will fall after the Herald’s print deadline on Wednesday.
