Larry M. Poole, age 81, of Brent, Alabama passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023. He was born April 2, 1942.
Larry married the love of his life, Joy Poole, on January 11, 1985. He was a very loving husband, Dad, and Pop who was loved by many. He loved to be outside on his lawnmower and helping others. He will be greatly missed.
Larry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Joy Poole; daughters, Kristy Johnson, Kandy Jackson and Cindy Bracknell (Darryl); grandchildren, Kari Ballard (Brent), Justin Bracknell (Lauren), Tyler Jackson, and Tayler Jackson; four great-grandchildren, Jolene, Lulu, Jaxon, and Emma Kate; two sisters, Annie Ruth Moore and Carline Perry; sister-in-law, Mary Helen Poole; son-inlaw, Teddy Jackson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Miriam and Clifford Poole; brothers, Carl Poole and Jim Poole; and sister-in-law, Marcy Poole.
A graveside service for Larry was held Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Heiberger United Methodist Cemetery, Onrow Tubbs Rd, Marion, Alabama 36756 with Pastor Shannon Allen officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were Darryl Bracknell, Justin Bracknell, Teddy Jackson, Jim Poole, Jr., Tayler Jackson, and Tyler Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heiberger Methodist Church or National Kidney Foundation.
