David Coleman, a native of Marion, Alabama, has been named the newest partner at the distinguished law firm Maxwell + Tillman, according to an announcement on social media this week.
“After ten years in the legal field, I am thankful for this opportunity. I appreciate all the prayers and support I’ve received,” said Coleman. “Here’s to at least 40 more years.”
A graduate of Marion Military Institute High School, Coleman earned his bachelor’s degree in History from Samford University before obtaining his Juris Doctorate from Jones School of Law in Montgomery, Alabama. During his time at law school, Coleman interned at one of the country’s leading civil litigation firms and served as a clerk for Supreme Court Justice Tommy Bryan.
The Justice Lawyers of Maxwell + Tillman expressed their excitement over Coleman’s appointment, lauding his dedication to the firm’s “longstanding community-first philosophy and advocating for individual rights.”
Over the past decade, Coleman has focused his practice on personal injury and wrongful death cases. He has carved out a specialty in motor vehicle collisions, including 18-wheeler collisions and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, slip and fall injuries, workers’ compensation, and products liability claims. His diligent work has resulted in the recovery of over $16 million for his clients nationwide.
Coleman’s passion for personal injury law stems from personal experience, understanding firsthand the severe impacts of automobile collisions and the intricate process of navigating and finalizing a claim. “When working with my team and me, you are not just a number. You matter, and we will always work to achieve the best outcome,” Coleman assured.
When he’s not advocating for his clients, Coleman enjoys spending time with his wife, daughters, friends, and family. An avid music and sports enthusiast, Coleman has attended hundreds of concerts, enjoys playing the drums, and is a fan of camping, golf, and football.
