The Judson College Alumnae Association recently announced that registration for J-Day is now open. This year, J-Day will take place at Siloam Baptist Church in Marion on September 9, with Rose Sunday to follow on the 10th.
Representatives of Judson College Board of Trustees recently clarified that insurance prevents events from being held on the school’s former campus at this time.
The association has reserved a block of rooms at Sleep Inn in Marion for those traveling to attend, and guests are encouraged to request the Judson College J-Day discount when booking.
The association extends an invitation not only to the alumnae but also to friends, supporters, former employees, and the extended Judson family. This day is about embracing the bonds formed at Judson College and keeping the spirit of the institution alive in its community.
Adding to the significance of this event, J-Day will be honoring the class of 1973 by inducting them into the prestigious Golden Club. In keeping with tradition, special reunion classes will be those ending in “3” and “8”, making it a particularly nostalgic event for those alumnae.
The association is also reaching out to the underclassmen who didn’t have the chance to be formally inducted into the Judson College Alumnae Association due to the school’s closure. These alumnae are invited to contact the association with their complete names and contact information so that they can be officially inducted during J-Day.
For more information, or to register, interested parties can contact the Judson College Alumnae Association at jack.pres@gmail.com.
The Alumnae Association eagerly looks forward to welcome everyone back to reminisce about the past, celebrate the present, and look forward to the future — a testament to the unbreakable bond and enduring spirit of the Judson College community.
