The Junior League of Hale County announced a new opportunity for students during the summer of 2024. Distinguished Young Women (formerly Junior Miss) of Hale County will be seeking Hale County young women who will be a part of the graduating class of 2025.
Distinguished Young Women is a scholarship opportunity open to young women at the county, state, and national level through a five-part program: Interview, Scholastics, Talent, Fitness, and Self-Expression. Distinguished Young Women goes through a process of selecting county agents, then state agents, to go to a national competition against the other 49 states.
