Nathaniel Johnson was born January 27, 1956 to Albert and Nancy Johnson, Jr. He departed his life January 15, 2023 at his home at the age of 66.
He confessed Christ at an early age and joined Progressive Baptist Church in Ft. Wayne, Ind..
He graduated from Elmhurst High School in Ft. Wayne, Ind. He worked at International Harvester before moving to Marion in 1999.
He is preceded in death by his father, Deacon Albert Johnson, Jr.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his daughter, Wintress Ebony Steele; mother, Nancy Bell Johnson; two grandsons, Daniel Harris, Jr. and Demond Harris; one brother, Ralph L. Johnson; three uncles, Rev. Robert Bell, Richard Bell, Lee Bell; four aunts, Mary Carlisle, Annie Cato, Solonia Bell, Mary Lou Mayes (Dot); one great aunt, Pearlie Wyatt; one great uncle, Willie J. Bell; special cousins, the Rev. Willie J. Shears, Joe Bell, Elbert Johnson, and Ronald Wyatt and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 28 at Melvin Miller Funeral Chapel in Marion.
