Clarence “Joe” Wallace, 84 of Brierfield, AL, formerly of Marion, AL went to his eternal home on December 29, 2022. He was born on October 16, 1938 in Centreville, AL to William Bill Wallace and Annie Bell Smith Wallace. He worked in maintenance for Cedar Hill Assisted Living.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Elizabeth Plummer Wallace. He is survived by his daughters: Becky Garner (Mike) of Brierfield, AL, Pam Hale (Paul) of Rainbow City, AL, and Patti White (Chris) of Millbrook, AL; and his sisters Martha Wallace of Marion, and Patsy Stewart of Alabaster, AL. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Ross Nichols, Samantha Bray, Matt White and Adam White; and two greatgrandchildren: Halyn Nichols and River White.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm, also at the chapel. A graveside service will follow at Pine Crest Memorial Gardens in Marion with Kirk Funeral Homes, Marion Chapel directing.
Pallbearers will be: Ross Nichols, Matt White, Adam White, Jake Garner, Josh Garner, and Bart Stewart. Honorary pallbearers are: Johnny Warren, Mike Warren, Mike Nichols, and William Wallace.
