There will be an alumni picnic on July 2 for alumni of Sunshine High School in Newbern.
The picnic is scheduled to go from 4:00 p.m. until and will be held at the Newbern Ball Park.
The organizers are asking all classes who plan to have a setup there to provide a donation of $50 per class. This will help pay for the usage of the park, porta- potties, and two generator- powered light towers. The deadline for donations is June 17.
