The University of Alabama and Sowing Seeds of
Hope are requesting Perry
County residents to take
part in a Community Health
Needs Assessment
(CHNA). The CHNA is described as “a series of measures that aim to give an
accurate view of the health
of the community,” in promotional material for the
survey. Both UA and SSH
are collecting health data
from Perry County to assess
various needs in healthcare
for the community. Namely,
the survey is meant to evaluate the demand for emergency medical services in
the county. Residents over
the age of 19 are requested
to take place in the survey
which can be completed online or on paper. Contact
Sowing Seeds of Hope for
more information on accessing the survey.
